Does NoVo give trade signals — buy here, sell there? No. It maps the dealer structure and lets you decide. The distinction between a signal and structure is fundamental to how NoVo works and to trading honestly — and it's not a technicality.
What a signal is
A signal is a directive: “buy SPY calls now.” It tells you what to do. The problem with signals is that they encourage dependence over understanding, they're only as good as whoever generated them, and they let you trade without knowing why — which is how you get run over when conditions change. A signal treats you as a button-presser, not a trader (it's the Discord-ping model).
What structure is
Structure is context: “here is the call wall, the gamma flip, gravity, the expected-move range — here is where price is likely to react.” It doesn't tell you what to do; it tells you where you are, so you can make your own informed decision. NoVo gives you the structural map — the same information a professional desk reads — and leaves the call to you. That's analysis, not a signal: it makes you a better trader instead of a dependent one.
A signal says “do this.” Structure says “here's where you are — you decide.” One rents you a fish; the other hands you the map of the lake.
Why NoVo refuses to give signals
This is deliberate and it keeps everyone honest. Levels are structure, not signals — they tell you where, never when or which way with certainty. Dressing structure up as a signal would be dishonest (it would imply a predictive power the levels don't have) and would make you worse (dependent, not skilled). NoVo keeps your judgment in charge because that's both the honest design and the one that actually builds a trader. If you want a signal service, NoVo isn't it — by design.
