Cumulative Delta, Explained
Price shows you the result of the fight between buyers and sellers. Cumulative delta tries to show you the fight itself — who's being aggressive, and whether it matches where price is going.

Price is the scoreboard; cumulative delta is the possession stats. When the score rises but possession doesn't, the lead is fragile.
The caveats
Delta classification is imperfect (not every trade cleanly signals intent), and it's an advanced, data-heavy tool best used as confirmation alongside structure — not a standalone signal (confluence). Like all microstructure reads, it's one more lens on who's really in control, complementing the aggregate dealer-flow picture (dealer flow).
