Getting started

What is NoVo?
NoVo is an AI-powered options-analysis and execution platform focused on SPY / QQQ / IWM. It comes in two products: NoVo Analyst — the live dealer-positioning map and a written market read every session; and NoVo Trader — executes your read in your own broker in one click, when you decide to take the trade. You can start free with the Journal and the weekly market notes.
Analyst or Trader — which do I need?
Analyst if you want the read and want to trade it yourself — the dealer map, the desk notes, and level-break alerts. Trader if you want that same structural read executed for you in your own broker — one click when you spot the trade, within the risk you set. You decide and initiate every trade. Many people start on Analyst and add Trader later. See both plans →
Is any of it free?
Yes. The NoVo Journal (1,000+ articles), Options 101, the Sunday Week-Ahead market note, the public read archive, and the Discord community are all free. NoVo Analyst starts with a 7-day free trial; NoVo Trader has no trial — it runs in paper mode until you switch it live, with 7-day money-back on your first payment.
Is NoVo giving me trade signals?
No. NoVo shows you the market's structure and what tends to follow, and (in Trader) executes the trades you choose to take. It never tells you to “buy calls here,” and it isn't financial advice.

NoVo Analyst

What do I get with Analyst?
The live SPY/QQQ/IWM dealer map (net GEX, the gamma flip, dealer walls, gravity, expected move, skew, fast/slow MM skew, IV rank) in an installable members dashboard; a written desk-note read each session (the Open, the Close, and a Sunday Week Ahead); real-time 'The Line' level-break playbooks; a per-ticker gamma-squeeze signal on the dashboard, a live options-flow read (call vs put demand), and historical analogues (“today looks like…”); and the private Analyst channels in Discord.
What do the dealer-map terms mean?
Net GEX = the regime (positive = dealers dampen/mean-revert, negative = they amplify/trend). Gamma Flip = the price where that behavior flips. Call/Put walls = the biggest gamma strikes (pins/resistance above, support below). Expected move = the ±1σ range priced in. Skew = whether traders are paying up for downside or upside. Every term is also explained inline in the dashboard and the reads. Deep dive: the methodology page →
What is 'The Line'?
A real-time alert that fires the moment SPY breaks or reclaims a MAJOR level (prior-day high/low, opening range, the gamma flip) — with a hold-vs-break playbook and the confirmation to watch. It's deterministic and educational, capped to one per level per day, in the app and Discord. It is never a signal to trade.
When do the reads arrive, and where's the archive?
The Open lands before the bell, the Close after the session, and the Week Ahead on Sundays — by email and in the dashboard. Every past read becomes public once its session is over: browse the read archive →
Do I need a brokerage account for Analyst?
No. Analyst is pure read — nothing to install, no broker keys. Connecting a broker so NoVo can execute is NoVo Trader, a separate tier.

NoVo Trader

How does one-click execution work?
You spot the trade, hit Buy Calls or Buy Puts, and NoVo executes it end-to-end — picking the strike, sizing the position to your conviction and risk settings, placing the hard stop, and managing the multi-tier exit for you. It's the same execution engine NoVo uses for its own trades, run on your command — you decide and initiate every entry.
Which brokers do I need?
Just one: Tradier or tastytrade. Either is a complete setup on its own — that single funded account (with the free real-time data stream turned on) is both your data feed and your live one-click trading. A Tradier-only user and a tastytrade-only user get the exact same NoVo — no second account needed. Both are live-only (real-money) brokers; you approve every trade. Only if you want to paper trade first, add a free Alpaca account alongside — it’s optional, paper-only, and never your data feed.
How does setup work?
After subscribing, go to your portal at app.novo-aitrading.app, create your account, and connect your broker — Tradier or tastytrade (one is all you need) — plus optional Alpaca keys if you want to paper trade (validated against the brokers). Your private NoVo spins up automatically — AI pre-configured — and your dashboard goes live. Most people are running in minutes.
Does NoVo ever touch my money?
Never. It's non-custodial. NoVo places trades in your own brokerage accounts through your broker's official API keys — it can only send buy/sell orders, and can never withdraw, move, or access your cash. Your capital stays in your accounts at all times.
Can I adjust the risk settings?
Yes — everything is adjustable from the dashboard Risk & Allocation Matrix without touching code: position size, TP1/TP2, trailing stops, hard stop %, strike offset, the DTE dial (0DTE default, out to 5 DTE). Changes take effect on the next scan; no restart needed. Your stops and targets run every trade — NoVo never overrides them.
Can it lose money?
Yes — and you should know that before subscribing. NoVo is an execution tool, not a guarantee; like any system it will have losing trades and days. You set the sizing and stops. Start in paper mode and only deploy capital you're prepared to risk. Options trading involves significant risk of loss.

Dashboard & app

How do I open my live dashboard?
From your member portal, click the dashboard button for the tier(s) you're on. Analyst opens the live dealer map at /analyst/live; Trader opens your execution dashboard. It's token-gated to your account.
How do I install it as an app?
The dashboards are installable web apps (PWAs). On iPhone/iPad: open it in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android/Chrome: open it, tap the menu → Install app / Add to Home screen. It then opens full-screen like a native app.
Can I get push alerts?
Yes — once you've added the dashboard to your home screen, allow notifications when prompted and you'll receive 'The Line' alerts (Analyst) and trade alerts (Trader) as push notifications.
The dashboard says "reconnecting" or looks stale.
The badge flips to RECONNECTING if it hasn't received a fresh publish recently (e.g. a brief outage). It clears itself once data resumes — just leave it open or reload. If it persists for more than a few minutes during market hours, ping us in Discord.

Account & billing

How do free trials work?
NoVo Analyst starts with a 7-day free trial (a card is collected up front and it auto-converts unless you cancel before it ends). NoVo Trader has no trial — once subscribed it runs in paper mode free until you switch it to live, and there's a 7-day money-back on your first payment (see the Terms). Trials are one per customer.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
One click from the billing link in any Stripe receipt, or from your member portal — no questions asked. Cancel any time; you keep access through the end of the period you've paid for.
Am I locked into a price?
Existing subscribers keep the rate they signed up at — Stripe never re-prices a live subscription. If prices change, you're grandfathered at your original rate for as long as you stay subscribed.
Is checkout secure?
Yes — all payments run through Stripe. NoVo never sees or stores your card details.
